free calamari
Every Wednesday atThe Library Bar (3015 Oak Lawn Ave.) inside the Warwick Melrose Dallas Hotel, they will offer free calamari and $5 cocktails from 4 to 7 p.m. Also, they have an after-hours happy hour special every Monday through Friday from 7:30 to 9 p.m., with $3 domestic beers and glasses of Segura Viudas Champagne. It looks like it’s going to be a calamari and Champagne Wednesday for us next week!

Central 214 (5680 North Central Expressway) will kick off their Sunday Sunset Movie series on their patio this Sunday, June 6, with the film Hairspray. Admission to the event is free, and you will get to enjoy a new late night menu and drink specials. No better way to celebrate an end to the weekend than to sip cocktails and sing along with cross-dressing John Travolta. If musicals aren’t your thing, then upcoming films to be shown are Best in Show and Airplane.

City Arts this weekend at Fair Park.
Showcasing spectacular cultural, performing, visual and culinary arts, CityArts Festival presented by TXU Energy takes place May 7‐9 within Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. The free, community-based festival will encompass the Esplanade, the Automobile Building, Court of Honor, and the Lagoon. Be sure to catch one of the "dancing water" shows choreographed to music at the Esplanade Fountain.
