free event- Farmers Branch Tour of Lights

Farmers Branch Tour of Lights is under way and the tree lighting will take place Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Farmers Branch Historical Park. The event will feature a fireworks show, snow tubing, visits with Santa, tours of historical structures, the Dallas Puppet Theatre and Radio Disney. Revelers will be treated to complimentary cookies, punch and hot chocolate. Gates open at 6. The event is free and open to the public.

The Metropolitan Dallas Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and the US Department of Health & Human Services Region VI  with support from the Healthy Relationships & Youth Angle programs of UT Southwestern Medical Center invite you to attend a FREE MOVIE SCREENING & Panel Discussion to commemorate WORLD AIDS DAY. The screening will take place on Tuesday, Dec 1, 2009 at 630p Angelika Film Center , 5321 E Mockingbird Ln  Dallas


The screening is FREE and open to all (seating is limited). The panel discussion will take place immediately following the film, "ALL OF US" www.allofusthemovie.com  The panel will feature local experts from HIV/AIDS Treatment, Prevention & Advocacy discussing and sharing their thoughts on the movie and to discuss the epidemic here in the Dallas area...There will also be a featured local poet to render spoken word in honor of Worlds AIDS Day. We hope to have FREE CONFIDENTIAL HIV TESTING available as well.
